In the unfortunate event that you become aware of an incident occurring on your land that might lead to legal action being taken against you,we ask that you take the following basic steps;
Do NOT accept or state that you are liable, this will be a matter for the Insurer to determine
- Do what is possible to minimise the loss and prevent further damage.
- Note down in detail your version of the events while they are fresh in your mind and take photographs where possible.
- We recommend that you report all potential claims to Landcover, no matter how small and minor you believe the incident to be.
- An Excess as stated on the Landcover schedule is payable by you when the Insurer accepts your claim.
- Click on this Claim Form link then complete and submit this online form together with copies of all documentation that you have received or issued in relation to the incident.
